How well is you're TPS adjusted? Does it do this when hot? Cold? Both?

Mine used to do the same thing but a little higher both hot and cold. Vac leaks and misadjusted TPS where the causes. I removed emissions and rats nest and it got much better. But I couldn't get it to rest at 750 consistantly until I adjusted the TPS. Then the idle was better as well as driving in general. It really makes a big difference.

Thanks guys im going to start with vac leaks then tps tje. Go from there

Green/Red wire of the TPS should read 1 volt w/key to on after the car has been driven for at least 20 minutes. And there is no benefit to removing the dashpot. None.

Well removing the dashpot makes the car lighter, and the weight loss is in the front and high above the roll center.:egrin: from the Trollin insomniac...
