Anyone ever get that many miles on there topped off tank in there na ? I think 390 miles is quite a bit , average of 24.3 mpg assuming i used 16 gallons, all the driving was done on the highway pretty much and when i filled the tank i topped it off with another $1.50-2.00 after it stopped automatically

Hit 415 miles to the tank on my NA a few times. Free flowing exhaust, intake, and mostly highway driving + shifting @ 3k rpms.

When i drove out to Deals Gap a few weeks ago I get 26 mpg there and about 25 on the way home. The only reason I got less on the way home was because my blockers (and RX8 and RX7) were driving faster on the way back and I was doing a lot of WOT to catch up or get into a passing position.

I put $40 dollars in (like 12 gallons) and didn't even get 200 mpg in my na?

I hope once the aux. port is fixed and the clogged cat and precats are replaced with the rb header/presilencer it will be as good as new.

I got 22-23 on the way to deals gap in my mildly modded t2, and of course east Tn is not the best place for mpg anyway. Of course, I had the FCON fuel delivery turned down some from stock on the low end, and I was running mid 13 to 14 AFRs. On my car, the bone stock engine/fuel setup ran a full point or 2 lower AFR than that prior to the FCON.

I get that much or better on the highway only. My O2 sensor is disconnected else it might be better. Somewhere around 400 easy at 70-90 MPH. I get at least 250 for city driving. "88 S4 NA. Not a big deal. What are U so suprised about? If you stay in 5th and don't stop U can do 450 miles on a tank at highway speed. I thought the car ran better(not MPG) around 100 MPH but the cops like to give me tickets, so I have to keep it at about 80 mph.

Not a big deal ? Well my car isnt stock, ive got a streetported engine, full exhaust, along with my 5/6 ports removed , so its suprising to me that i got as good of gas mileage as I did.

My car is about 190hp at the flywheel so wouldnt you expect more hp to use more gas , or does it just make more efficient use of that gas ?

Same here in my s5 NA I get about 240-250 miles from a full tank of city driving. Redline it here and there onto freeway on ramps.

But on a long trip just highway driving i got like 410 miles out of a tank.

I got 410 once and only once, that was when it started to cut out, rolling into the gas station. 90% highway.

edit: I just noticed Lil Red got the same milage as me

under perfect conditions (constant highway driving) i can almost get 700 km to a tank, which is something like 430 miles. that's on a stockport S5 NA (S5 tanks are bigger though than S4).
i am running very lean; i've tuned it on the highway to run about 15.0-16.0 AFR.
running slightly more premix than required (100:1 ratio), 10W30 oil (instead of 20W), windows up, no A/C, lights down, tire pressure about 35psi, having all stock undertrays, etc. then you can squeeze out maybe one more MPG or so, haha.
