Sunroof won't go back

Hey guys,

87' TII. Sunroof pops open to point 1 and closes with no issue. It won't slide back to point 2 (open). It worked perfectly a couple months ago, has been just sitting since I last used it. I've been looking through the search, but haven't found anything yet.

Anyone got an idea where to start?

Edit: found a couple threads where other people had the issue, but no one put a fix up. It would also be worth mentioning the motor does not try to move the sunroof when the button is pushed the second time. Leads me to believe it is electrical, not mechanical

Clean the tracks, like those other threads say?

It is most likely due to cold solder joints on the sunroof relay. It is located under the headliner near the windshield on the passenger side. The relay is inside a black plastic enclosure. Look at the solder joints at the connector to see if there is cracking. I believe there is there is four or five joints total and they look like little hersheys kisses made of solder. If you see cracking you need to desolder and resolder those joints.
