Summit Racing performance brake pads

Has anyone used the performance pads from summit? they are only $40 for the fronts and I think $35 for the rear. how would these compare with say EBC Green Stuf?

hmm.. are you sure they make them for our cars?
i got some rotex pads in front now. that cost me $75. Dustless and can take abuse.

Yeah I just checked them out. I didn't get a pat number from the guy but they are on the web too. onley the front come up on the web but the salesman told me about the rear pads too. they are 100% graphite. I don't know anything about them but I need brakes . I wa going to but the EBC Green stuff. think I should try these? I don't want an OE replacment

graphite? that doesn't make sense, graphite is slippery as hell

OC_ 10-08-02 10:21 PM

graphite is the same as carbon...

I hear the EBC ones are tuff on rotars. can anyone back me up?

Let us know how they work. I had my brake pads replaced by a shop which I now refused to go back to for other reasons and I'm sure they used NAPA crap. Less than 10000 miles later I'm getting a squeel already:(
