Strut support tab?

My friend wants to buy these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
,but we don't know if they will work. The stock struts appear to have two tabs, pic below, and these performance ones only have one.

Is this a valid concern? Is this a good buy? He wont be drifting really, he just wants a nice suspension, and to know that he can drift if he wants to.

Support tab? Are you talking about where the strut actually bolts on? It bolts on in 2 spots, and then has a "tab" for the brake line.

Look in this pic.

The coilovers are just sitting on the portion that actually bolts it on, you can kind of see it there against the ground. The "tab" I think you're referring to in that pic you posted is for the brake line only.
