Strut support tab?
My friend wants to buy these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
,but we don't know if they will work. The stock struts appear to have two tabs, pic below, and these performance ones only have one. stock; https://i14.ebayimg.com/04/i/04/e1/cd/87_1_b.JPG for sale on ebay; https://i21.ebayimg.com/03/i/04/fa/ag/ea_1_b.JPG https://i10.ebayimg.com/03/i/05/01/13/b6_1_b.JPG Is this a valid concern? Is this a good buy? He wont be drifting really, he just wants a nice suspension, and to know that he can drift if he wants to. |

Support tab? Are you talking about where the strut actually bolts on? It bolts on in 2 spots, and then has a "tab" for the brake line.
Look in this pic. https://i10.ebayimg.com/03/i/05/01/13/b6_1_b.JPG The coilovers are just sitting on the portion that actually bolts it on, you can kind of see it there against the ground. The "tab" I think you're referring to in that pic you posted is for the brake line only. |
Yeah I see what your talking about. Ha Im a genius.
