Stock turbo -AN coolant line

Short question:

What -AN fitting fits on the stock turbo coolant line banjo bolt?

long story:
so the rubber o-rings between my housings and LIM are leaking and I want to just get rid of that whole system, so I'm going to put some freeze plugs in the coolant passages and convert my stock turbo to take coolant out of the rear iron coolant nipple.

my rear iron is already tapped 1/4" NPT and plugged, so that's easy, but does anyone know what size the banjo bolt on the turbo is?

would it be better to just get a metric thread adapter, or to get an actual banjo adapter?

does the size of the AN line really matter on collant lines?

IIRC, there isn't a banjo bolt on the stock turbo.

there is... :p:

that's what both coolant lines connect with.

the oil lines connect with flanges and bolts though.

M14x1.5 earls makes a an adapter that converts to -6an

are you sure? I searched and different people say it was m14, m16 or either depending on year...

Easy way is if you have the bolt out measure the outside of the bolt and covert it to mm and you'll get the major dia. Then measure the distance from peak to peak on the thread. And that's your thread pitch. But I'm pretty sure its M14x1.5.

Hah! Ill be damned. I must have been thinking of the oil lines....
I've always just cut that hard line and flared the end then ran a line from the rear iron for water. But hey, AN fittings are a lot better.

I drained the coolant anyway tonight so I pulled the bolt, and yeah, mine is an M16x1.5.

*shrug*

I hate trying to line up the damn hard line.

just a follow up to this, in order for the AN fitting to clear the upper intake manifold it has to be pointed towards the firewall and go around the exhaust side of the LIM. I tried to run it out the front to keep away from the hot exhaust, but it didn't clear the UIM.
