Stock times for a turbo Rx7?
Hey guys I've been browsing around and I have to say this is a cool site. I've always liked Rx7"s and I was considering getting one in the near future. I was just wondering what kind of 1/4 mile times I should expect from a second gen turbo that's in decent shape? Thanks!

Uh I dont really remember or know much about the Turbo rotaries, but I think stock they run somewhere in the 15 flat range something like 15.2 I dunno.
I believe high 14's can be broken with a good driver and well running TII.
15 stock, low 14 with exhaust and a cone filter. Into the 13s with a boost controller and a fcd.
The exact is 15.1 on a stock turboII
high 14's - low 15's in great condition with good driver.
i read online a stock turbo did 14.9.....cant remeber the site, something like carspecs.com or something like it
i ran 13.6 on stock turbo and stock intercooler,

just throw an FCD and a MBC on a TII and crank it up, you could probably pull high 12's for one pass only. :D
just noticed madrx7racer you live in SC. i lived there for 25 years until i moved to sacramento in '00. :) |
How can you stand the HEAT in Sacramento????? JEEZ, I don't think I want to leave this place...It is raining right now and it is COLD but I wouldn't have it any other way. I LOVE SC....I'm a Slug.
