Stock speaker size + power?

just wondering what the stock speaker size/wattage/impedance was

and also the stock amps, how many there are, and how much they're pushing?

Throw those stock pieces of junk away.
Front in dash is 4".
Rears changed sized during the years, as some are 4" and some are 6.5", I think.
Doors are 5.25"?

i'd just buy a new headunit that has a built in amp that puts out more than 50 watts to a speaker at a certin amount of ohms, then just grab a spoll of two wire and run new speaker wire thruoght your car, then get some speaker taht match the amps impedance, and put them in.

Im not sure, btu i'd definately go without usign the stock amps, because theyre not good at all, and wired weird. I got a new headunit, and hooked it up right, and i couldnt isolate back left, front right, or any speaker. I then went trough and ran new speaker wire from each location straight to my headunit, much clearer sound and i could isolate each speker, and fade properly.

"ALL" car speakers are 4 ohms. execpt subs which can be different.

watts is different for different years as they had different amps in different places and different speakers.

power is meaningless if you plan to replace anyways.

power rating on speakers is meaningless anyways. the more you give them the better.

if you put a new deck in you also must bypass the stock amps. easiest way is with new wires from deck to speaker.

bs like this may confuse some people, now does anyone know the stock power of the amps and speakers?

The stock ones are 4-ohms per driver.
The amps are not more than 25W per speaker - you can pop open the circuit boards, and I think it's printed on it.

rear tower speakers-5" (but 6 1/2s fit easily)

if youre getting a new headunit too, make sure to bypass the stock amps, they will make it sound shitty and distorted at high volumes.

The short answer is that it's not worth keeping any of the stock equipment. Any new head unit is going to outpower the stock amps, and you're never going to get good sound out of 15yo speakers.

the fronts are 4" rated at 10W RMS and 25W MAX
rears, I'm not 100% but are 6.5" and like 20-25W RMS
