Steps to take when storing a Turbo II for the winter?

I don't have a TII yet, but I'm switching positions in the spring and will have a company car, so I'm planning on selling the GXL and grabbing a Turbo II to tool around with during the summer season and get into AutoX, and storing it during the winter.

I don't know if there's anything special I really need to do. It'll be in a garage during the winter, and I was just thinking of keeping only a small amount of gas in the tank with Sta-bil added, and starting for 15 minutes every month or so to keep the seals from locking up. :D

Yeah, search doesn't work too well for me, I usually get stupid results. I'll check his site in a minute though. :D

I always store my car from our nasty Canadian winters, so the car is out of commission for a good 5-6 months :(

I add fuel stabilizer and make sure not to pull the handbrake.

I never start the car. Starting a car regularly and just letting it idle up to temperature in the cold is not a good idea.

Instead, I fog the engine with Marine Fogging Oil. I make sure to get that stuff into all of the rotor faces (spray, turn engine, spray more). Then I leave it until spring time.

I forgot to mention in that post that you should also use a fuel stabilizer. I like Sta-Bil. Mix it in while you are doing your fogging so it circulates through the system a few times.

Thanks bro, looks like alot of fun. :D Should a guy but some oil on the hatch and door seals as well? I know my passenger one sticks like a mofo whenever I open it since I never have passengers. :D
