steam?? where!

I love my 7 but dang its alot of work to keep it alive. I just got done doing the banjo bolt swap and putting new rad. hoses and thermostat and it runs fine but after it gets warmed up steam, or what I like to think is steam starts coming from underneath the smog pump by the exhaust shield. I see no sighns of over heating or coolant loss. I do have a oil leak in the same general area, could it just be oil burning?

If coolant got spilled on the motor it could be burning off, but that would'nt take too long to dissipate

well i guess it was the first time I took it out after getting it running again. I look at it again when I take it out next. thanks

Yeah, if that was the first time you drove it will go away, no sweat

Im guessing this just came out of stupidity and it went great along with the bad grammer. The guy was asking a question and if you cant help then dont answer. But anyway yea you probly spilt coolant in that area give it about an hour and it should burn off. What exactly do you mean by an oil leak? Leak from a hose? If so that could be the problem to. If it doesn't maybe oil got to that area and burning oil (internally) has nothing to do with it because then the smoke would come out the exhaust
