starting an old rotary and resistor pack question

im about to turn over my 10ae, the engine i put into it hasnt been started in about a year, any tips or advice on how to do this gently? jus figured there might be some kind of trick to it.

secondly i am running high imp purple top injectors, wich means i do not need an injector pack correct? and if i dont need the injector pack do i have to cut the plug and ground the wires out or can i jus leave it as an empty plug? thanks alot guys

u do not need to put on a resistor pack, the purple injectors are stock on an 88. the ECU wants to see high impedance.

if you dont need the injector pack, you need to ground each of the injector wires at that plug. You can either cut the plug off of the harness and solder everything together in the harness and wrap it up again, or you can cut the plug off your (or a spare) resistor pack and just connect all the wires together and wrap it, so if you ever go back to low imp injectors, you can unplug this connection and reconnect a stock resistor pack

i dont believe 88s came with the resistor pack. doesnt even have a plug for it. you shouldnt need to do anything.

no they didnt, but the engine is jdm and i had to swap an american harness on it and the american harness has the plug for it
