sputtering engine
 

My engine started sputtering today. It doesn't seem to matter what gear it's in, but it does seem to happen around the 4K RPM range. My first instict is to think that this is the 3800RPM hesitation but I've not read about it causing sputtering. Can anyone else thinkg of something?

I think one of the primary injectors is clogged and possibly the secondaries are startting to not respond. Maybe mulitple issues? Any help would be wonderful!!

Have you just recently installed bigger secondaries? How are your grounds?

The injectors are original and i've never messed with the grounds, never really had to. But now i think i'm going to have to...

Would the the ground affect the injectors not firing? I know the front rotor is running way lean, and i've checked the fuel filters (including the one in the tank) and they're clean. I know the front rotor was/is running lean because the spark leading plug was fried. The rear rotor was pretty crispy, but not as bad as the front.

I'm getting kind of paranoid about my car...later i noticed when i shut the car off the oil pressure did not go all the way down llike it normally does. It stayed above 30 for a few seconds and slowly went down. Am i crazy or is that not suppose to happen?

If you loose that ground on the rear rotor housing, or it's loose or dirty/corroded, your injectors (and lots of other things) will be affected, yes...
