Which springs would you guys choose

Sportech springs

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ST-SP...spagenameZWD1V

Teins S.tech

or

Eibach
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EIBAC...61587887QQrdZ1

which one do you think would be better?
Which one do you think would corner better?
I will be planing on using them with either tokico hp or KYB GR-2.

Thanks for the reply

Get the Teins for better cornering and Eibach for better ride quality. Get HPs, don't get GR2s. HPs are performance oriented, GR2s are made for stock OEM replacements. Of course, if you wanted KYBs, AGX is a option and it's not that expensive.

rx7-kid 02-16-07 11:08 AM

so teins s.tech would be better than eibach right. is the teins bouncier than eibach..and what about sport tech

ROTARYROCKET7 02-16-07 11:32 AM

i got eibachs for better ride quality since i live in NYC, and KYB cuz there upgraded from stock and they are adjustable, look up JDMWERKS on ebay, he sells em cheap

Roen 02-16-07 11:34 AM

I would go with Tanabe GF210's for performance, they're the second stiffest street spring next to RSR Race and they give a 1.5" drop, but if you want comfort, go with Eibach.

CrackHeadMel 02-16-07 11:50 AM

I have Eibach pro's and tokico blues on my car. Rides very well, not bouncy, my roads are a little rough too

Rexpelagi 02-16-07 12:02 PM

Why does everyone sell progressive springs these days?

RRTEC 02-16-07 12:09 PM

Best Springs on the market are the B+G springs... they are wonderful. Full 2 inch drop I never had to adjust my camber and they rode and handled like a dream.. I miss them.. If you ever see a set pick them up.

that doesnt make sense if you understand basic geometry unless you happen to come across a different tire/wheel size that compensateted

Bouncier is such a board word. But the S Tech's should be better. Havn't tried Sport Tech so I couldn't really tell ya. S Tech and Eibachs are both decent springs, just ones linear and ones progressive. Depends on which one you feel like having on your car.

rx7-kid 02-16-07 05:24 PM

i just want a spring that would be stiff and one that would drop low enough to where i dont have to buy a camber kit for it.. i mean stiff. what the difference between progressive and linear spring, my friend told me the difference before but i kinda forgot

NOPR 02-16-07 05:35 PM

the teins are very cheap if you just want a nice drop and slightly better handling

rx7-kid 02-16-07 05:39 PM

would i have to get camber kit if i get tanabe spring or rsr..because i read somewhere and they say that im going to need camber if im going to drop it over 1 inch. right now im on stock wheel but im going to get 17x7 very soon.

apexFD 02-16-07 06:11 PM

Quick question. What do you guys think of the RB springs preformance wise. Better..? worst??

My opinion is RB springs feel better than Teins. Teins feels more on the soft side. But I would never use either on my personal car, reason being I like it lower.

I'd stick with Teins if your worried about camber. You will notice camber wear with the Tanabes, how much depends on your individual car. For RSRs, you'd definitely need a camber kit. I have them on my car with Mazdatrix individual camber links, and I had to max it out to correct my camber (Well, I can adjust some more if I hammer my chassis a bit or drill a hole, but I'd prefer not to.)

Turbo II 02-16-07 09:59 PM

I've been running the Tanabe GF for about a year and a half, installed a rear camber adjuster at the same time I put the springs on. Tire wear on the rear has been very even for me. This includes highway, back road, HPDE and autocross events.

rx7-kid 02-16-07 10:30 PM

i got a question about s4 gxl...when stock, is the from sock blue. because i check my and it was blue and i also got the part number too which is JTA01096A. is that shock stock or aftermarket. right now i i think my both of my rear shock went out and it was leaking.

RRTEC 02-17-07 12:17 AM

I have RB's on my vert.. Very nice springs and the price is good..

88rxn/a 02-17-07 12:47 AM

i want a slight drop and really dont want to be bouncing to bad....
yet, im still unsure what i want...
i do have tokicos non adjusble shocks for my N/A...i wonder if the fit my TII??
same series.

RotaryEvolution 02-17-07 12:53 AM

struts create bounce, not so much the springs(unless they are stiff as hell). my S-techs ride very smoothly but just stiff enough to offer a decent amount of performance aspect.

rx7-kid 02-17-07 02:18 AM

what do you guys think about intrax spring. if i use them then i would have to buy camber for it right. they said that it drops about 1.6 inch front and rear.

Eva001Ikari 02-17-07 02:34 AM

well i know these springs werent in the multiple choice section of this thread but I got Racing Beat springs..........over my tokico struts and they run very well......its a little rough when going over speed bumps at 30 (LOLOL) but other than that, it feels really really smooth on the cornering and everything, if you ask me i'd say it feels better than stock
