Spark plug wires -- Problem!!
 

Alright... When I was tightning/checking my belts, I was looking at the spark plugs. One plug cap looked a little further out than the rest, so I took it off with ease, and just put it back on. While putting it on, I kept waiting for it to snap in place like I THOUGHT it would. I was pretty dang sure I put the cap back on straight, but I guess I didn't.

Since the cap was kinda loose on the actual plug itself, I was worried, and I looked inside the cap, and the metal surrounding that is usually in place there got shoved back into the back of the rubber cap. I was trying to get it back up, but it seems to be a bit oblong and I can't get it, even after trying to make it a circle again with pliars.

It was the right top plug, pretty sure that is one of the leading plugs?

Am I just lookin at buying a new wire? If so, I might as well go ahead and buy all 4 of them while I'm at it. Anyone know where to get them at a good price? Thanks....

Not so sure about price but don't get the crappy ones from autozome or checker.

Well, let me tell you after having shitty after markets spend the money and get the Mazda OEM's. They do make a difference.

But if price is an issue and sometimes it is, you can have my crappy autolight ones. You'd just have to pay shipping.

Yes you do want the connection to be good and solid. Think about it this way. If it missfires even 10% of the time.....That's just shitty.

If you're having trouble getting the cap out try to take a flat head screw drive and stick it in the boot. Pull (not too hard) the wire through the boot and then try to fix the end cap.

But hey, for 32 bucks get the mazda OEM's

Same thing happened to me with the metal part inside the jacket being pushed in too far. I just used needle nose pliars and opened them outward while pulling them out as well. Snapped in no problem after that.
