spark plug question
hey guys. im getting ready to the the 60k tune up and i saw these e3 spark plugs. i was wondering if anyone has used them in their Rx7, and if they did, what did you notice? are they any good?
link to the plugs site: http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/ Thanks in advance guys! |
Nooooo.... Do not run anything but NGK's meant for our engines. I doubt those E3 plugs have the specific tip for a rotary engine and worst case the tip of the apex seal will catch the spark plug and there goes your engine.
If this were a piston engine I would say knock yourself out. That or if you can verify that the tip of the spark plug is the same as the ones used in our engines. |

E3 does not make plugs for Rotary. in fact most Spark Plug manufactures CANNOT make plugs for rotary because its much harder to do, and it cost a lot more + market is small
Best plug came from NGK. in fact most aftermarket spark plugs are just re-branded NGK with the company's own setting (like colder plugs from HKS) |
i figured they didnt make the proper tip. What kind or NGK's should i use?
