Is something missing!?

Is there supposed to be some sort of hose or, something that is supposed to be connected here?...

In the circled area, i tried peeking into it and it seams as if something should be on it or, plugging it, or....

any input?...

I don't even think theres a hole there, is there?
<Runs to garage to look>
Edit, I think think there is a coolant hose that goes there, lemme check my pics as mine is removed atm.

Wrong again. As best I can tell, it connects to the large vacuum line that goes down and connects to the oil injection nozzles. This is on an a-spec NA, so it could be different for you.

Might be an adjustment screw but on an extra one I have sitting here there isn't even a full hole there. So nothing would serve any purpose being there.

Not 100% but I think it is as it looks to be a turbo engine.

On some models that is the adjustment for the idle, but for most it is nothing at all.

and there should not be a hose there

Nothing there. Looks good to me. Just like mine. No hose!

lol, thats wierd because I planned to search about this topic because I thought the screw was missing on my old one. I tried to change my BAC out today as advised by the previous owner due to a low idle + stalling problem (mostly with AC on) and the BAC I was given was different...the bottom part that attaches to the hose that goes to the intake pipe was facing the front of the car horizontally rather than upwards like the old one. There was that screw missing too from the hole in the pic you posted in my original one. Was the BAC I was given an S4 one? Can I make it work on my 90 GXL?

btw, sorry for the hi-jack, figured the thread was done with.

This is the counter-part to the idle adjust screw on the TB on an NA.

Used for fine-tuning the idle..like, if yours idles at 875, you can turn it a bit to get it down to a solid 850.
