someone point me in the right direction..

I don't know if this is what i really want to do.. please don't hate, bash. Just questioning all possibilities..

Would anyone be able to tell me how to mod a carb for blow through setup? or maybe where i could read up on it? I have google'd it and searched 2nd gen forum with no luck.. This is not just for my rx I know someone that would like to do this to a 302ci, and a vw rabbit (very old) at my work.. hehehe..

p.s. the kid in the rabbit thinks he got a really fast car now. bwahahahaha :p:

oh. i have 2 holly 650's in my basement (brand new) so if anyone knows if they can be made blow-through, that would be even better..

Also, if I do end up with a carb on my mazda. I not a complete moron, I do have a wideband o2/gauge with a bosch lsu4.2 sensor... :)

you can do it.... I'd call the guys at Racing Beat (who sell the carb manifold adapters for 13b's) to enquire about the details.

the carbs already have a gaskett ring around the top where the aircleaner would sit, you have to have an adapter to seal up the turbo pipe to the carb.

However... jetting a carb and setting the FPR up to get the mix right on a turbo is going to be a real PITA as compared to an injection setup.

today at work i brought a holly 650 carb with me and a newer dodge pickup w/5.2L came in. I borrowed the little adapter that they put on the top of there throttle body's on the top of the 650 and it sealed up. (that gives me a 2 3/4in dia tube for the top of the carb.)
