for some reason im not getting fuel!!!

ok this is very frustrating for me. i figured out that i wasnt getting any fuel so i tested the fuel pump and that wasnt working so i got a new one and put it in and still no fuel. im thinking it might be the relay but im not for sure if anyone knows what the problem is please help me out!!:wallbash:

Are you getting power to the pump? When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? Are you sure its not clogged? Search for these things.

did you mix the hoses up?..put the Return onto the FEED to the engine and the Feed to the return?..that would explain NO fuel.

jumper the fuel pump check connector on the passenger side of the engine bay (yellow two prong connector). Don't hear it running? Beyond the rear driver shock tower is the fuel pump connector. Check for voltage there... I believe it is a blue wire on the series 4 cars (blue on the side of the connector that goes to the pump, not the harness side).

i changed the fuel filter when i changed the pump i havent jumped it yet. where else would it be clogged? i will double check the hoses to make sure they are right if someone could find me a diagram that would be most helpful. i will put a test light to it today. will update later. thanx

Jumper the fuel pump connector at the front by the air cleaner, and turn the key on.
Go back and check to see if you can hear the pump running. If not, pull the connector loose over by the left shock strut tower. See if you have power there. If you do, your pump is bad. If not, check the relay.
Post your results.
