Some oil issues...

So I recently put a new turbo in my car, a hyrbid T04 from Nelson Siverio. I've had it in for about 3 weeks now and I notice that oil pools on the turbo inlet, maybe a teaspoons worth everytime I take the TID off. The car started smoking recently when I got on it, so I figured it was possibly blow-by, and removed the oil cap and proceeded to drive around for a little bit.

The smoking gradually went away, or at least dissapaited to the point that I can't tell it's there. I don't have the breather line plugged into my TID currently as I just made a custom one, I'm thinking that's causing the smoking? But I still don't know how the oil gets into the compressor housing and pools on the inlet, that just baffles me. Any help would be great!

Thanks guys!

if your oil does not have free way to go back from turbo down to oil pan (if venting is not proper), it will start smoking and eventually even getting into the front (compressor)

Venting being like a catch can or a breather filter? I know the drain line is in good shape, I just checked it.

HIGGI means the oil return line should be a shortest line back into the motor .
The gravity should flow oil back without any obstruction.
