Softer springs for megan coilovers?

Hello all. I just got a FC locally, and it came with Megan Coilovers. They are a bit much for San Francisco's bumpy streets. Does anyone know if and where I can get softer coil over springs as the springs looks a lot smaller in diameter.

Thank you for any information you might have.

I would get that trash off your car ASAP. Sell them for like $500 and get the RacingBeat full suspension kit. Iv'e heard it is a dream for any street driven FC that is driven with some spirit. I am saving up for the kit myself.

Useless post. He didn't ask what you want him to have on his car.

Not sure of the spring diameter is the same or not but I know you can order eibach coil over springs separate from eibach or some sites in whatever spring rate you want. If your gonna replaces your setup my vote goes for ground control sleeve overs with oem struts so long as you keep it at or relatively near the original ride hight so you don't blow out the struts.

Just hit up the Megan site and saw that the track series which I'm gonna assume you have since it's a harsh ride have damper adjustments, look over them good and see if yours has any knobs on them, the higher the setting the softer the ride. And while the other dude could have been a little more tactful instead of just saying something the op just bought was trash, it was still slightly on topic with addressing his rough ride issue.

Sorry, I just try to look out for others. Megan is a terrible brand, and I would hate to have them fail on him while driving. And dont say it won't happen, I know plenty of people over here who had megans until they broke.

Not saying he should keep the Megans. I'm saying the reason people get coilovers for the adjustability, why suggest a fixed suspension? Why not suggest a better brand of coilovers? That would have been the better suggestion.

Thank you for the tips. I've had racing beat parts on my RX8 and I love them. Good tips.

Ok, one other question. Was about to order some Tokicko Blue and RB springs, but then they said I need a top hat. Any idea where to find them? I checked the FS forum but couldn't find anything.

Hey guys..I just bought a new 91 N/A and I am thinking about changing out the suspension. From what I have read RB springs are really good (i think everyone here agrees), but what kind of shocks should I get. What is the most bang for the buck shocks out there. I am not looking to race my car, only to lower it a bit and improve the handling. Should I just keep the original shocks?

Ok I agree, Megan sucks. They were a pain in the ass to work with and their product is mediocre at best.

ArmAnirx7 get Tokiko blues or Illuminas.
