you need a new one. cost goes around 25$ and its easy to replace.

or shave it off and install door poppers, eventually that will have to happen when all the door handles break in the world. :(

Stock up on them and sell them for an inflated price in the winter when everyone's handles break.

go to the dealer. they come pre painted and you will never have to deal with it ever again

there is a way to rig it so that it will work. its not permanent but itll due for a little while.

take out the handle youll see where the metal has broken. drill two holes in both sides. get some wire from home depot i used 16 gauge mirror hanging wire, put it thru the holes twist it up and then some kwik steel or JB weld to make sure it holds. i just did this for a second time because i used some cheap wire that broke the first time.

theres also a thread somewhere to show you how to do this with pictures.

Climb in through the passenger side and open it from the inside until you can replace the handle.

My passenger door handle did this soon after I bought it (like the next day). Never knew the problem until I took the door panel off and discovered it had previously broken and was jimmy rigged. One of the rods had broken off and was zip tied back into place but one of the zip ties slipped off. My fix...continue the jimmy rigging by putting the zip tie in place and adding a third one to criss-cross it so it doesn't slip again. It is still working 1 year later with tons of use.

that's primitive.

Both my doors broke at one time, so i would get in through the hatch but that was a pain. So I tied a belt to the driver door handle and hung it from the seat (not pictured) i would then open my hatch and pull the door handle from outside through the hatch.
