Snapped my rear caliper bleeder...

I was unscrewing my driver side rear caliper bleeder (the main one) and it snapped... The screw did not turn at all and it is still closed, so can I use only the second bleeder to change my brake fluid ? Thanks !

From what I've read based on the reasoning behind the two bleed nipples (interchangeability between L and R), you would need to bleed that caliper with the nipple facing upward. If you were using a vacuum or reverse bleed method I don't think this would matter.

get a used caliper, or try to get the Broken part out is safer than keep using it like this.

You could probably get a cheap replacement at the junkyard.

a little heat drill bit and a left handed easy out works great careful tho brake fluid is very flamable

An old trick to loosen a stuck bleeder is to rapp it pretty hard with a hammer, straight on, right on the cone and hole. I like to soak em first.

Who cares if you mess it up, they're cheap.

Of course this means you have to bail on the more standard efforts before you strip or break the bleeder. Maybe it will help next time.
