smoking untill warmed up

i have a 1990 fc and i dont know why its smoking untill the motor is warmed up can anyone help me out

That would be the signs of a failing turbo.

ah ic... in that case it may be water seals if its white and sweet smelling.

i have that problem too. it's your rotor oil seals gone bad, therefore it'll leak oil into the compression chamber until the oil seals warm up and completely seal everything up. you need a rebuild.

Could just be condensation.
My engine has just been rebuilt, all new seals, etc.
Smokes a little until warm, personally don't think theres anything to worry about too much. Unless its pissing out a LOT of smoke....

mine was white whenever i revved past 3500 on warmup so i took it to sidepex and asked norman (the socal-ers might know him) and he told me it was the oil-seals.
