Smoke from under the hood?
 

Hi,

I've noticed a burning oil smell lately when I drive the RX7. Today, noticed smoke from under the hood; it appears to be coming from the vicinity of the turbo, but I'm no mechanic, and I can't see exactly where it's coming from.

Turbo is a BNR stage I rebuild with less than 2K miles. Car is driven occasionally: It will sit for a month, then get driven a few miles a day for a few days, then sit for 2 weeks, etc.

Any ideas? I need to take it in to the doctor, but the mechanic who did the install on the turbo is 1/2 away, and I'm not sure I want to try driving it that far.
