smoke problem

I have a 87 TII with a new motor about 1k miles on it. When i first started running it i had no problems, but recently it has started smoking bad. It smokes when i first start and the whole time it is running throught warm up and while on the street. I am not sure what is causing this. Any suggestions pn the problem and how to cure it.
Thanks

mine just started doing this as well did it today, I went into the autoparts store was in there about 10-20 mins, smoked when I started it smelt like oil just like when I blew my turbo. I got home less then 5 mins away and it wasnt doing it.

Im thinking my turbo oil seals are leaking and its pooling when I start the car its burning it all away and while the car is running its burning the little bit of oil as it leak witch is why it stops after I drive for a couple mins.
how does that sound?

Well, go get it some cigarettes. Seriously, A small amount of smoke isn't bad. I would suspect the oil seals in the turbo ifc it has any real mileage on it.
