ok..well, i finally got around to transferring all my pics onto 1 computer.. so ill make a little story line of my car since i got it:)

first set......
pic #1 is the day my friend bought the car 6 years ago

pic #2 this is how i bought the car.... it had a blown motor, and my friend got tired of working on it (he now has an rx8)

pics 3-5 are after having it 2 months (got a junkyard motor in it, and had it running again for under $200) (ran great until the turbo swap too)

note, please dont post till all the pics are up.. there will be 6 posts of pics, then post away:) thanx

:icon_tup: Looks great dude!! Love everything BUT the giant tach but hey...to each there own. Great job and a project that has come a long way.

vipers 08-07-06 01:47 AM

thanx everyone... its come along way since ive owned it..... and the tach is definently contravercial, but i need it! my 8k rpm tach is too low, my new redline will be between 8500-9k ... so i need a 10k tach..... ill probubly be placing it in a less "ricer" location.... i was thinking about getting a smaller one, and grafting it into the stock tack location... we'll see

walken 08-07-06 01:58 AM

but doesn't your stock tach go to 9K?

vipers 08-07-06 03:54 AM

cant remember... i thought it went to 8k?!?! oh well, its 2am here..cant think

sleeperfc 08-07-06 05:28 AM

if its a s5 n/a gauge cluster it does.

JFR 08-07-06 09:23 AM

So did you decide to take the graphics off? Because it looks a lot better without the graphics and white wheels. The black wheels give it a good look. Good work, that car went through some major changes.

speeddemon32 08-07-06 10:30 AM

yeah the car is alright..... not my personal style.

he he, just playin Jesse. car looks great, you know I love it! I see you got around to looking at all the pictures I gave you. ;) I cant wait untill it's done. she is gona be a monstor. nie to see you droped off the motor yesterday. make sure you let me know when you get it back.

and just for the record, your friend didnt Just get tired of working on it, he also had no room when he moved, and started another project. I loved that car, I didnt really want to sell it all at the time. (now of course I know that everything worked out for the better) :D

speeddemon32 08-07-06 02:44 PM

Vipers, I belive your tach is an 8k tach. that was the whole reason for the new tach... that and your OEM one does not work anymore.

FC3S Murray 08-07-06 03:36 PM

Well...if there is a purpose for the tach then right on. If you are running a new turbo motor soon you probably wont need that tach. Factory will do fine.

RE Drifter 08-07-06 08:08 PM

Wow Jesse your car went through a lot of different looks. I forgot it used to be an NA.

eriksseven 08-07-06 11:13 PM
