Slow cranking
i heard that slow cranking could be cause by a bad ground
what would be best to cure the problem? running a postive 4gauge wire to the starter? or running a 4gauge ground from the negative side of the batt. to the starter?? thanks alot |
it could also be a weak battery or a bad starter(taking too much power)

battery is brand new and also the starter

Replace the old negative battery cable with new, add an additional ground from the engine to the chassis. Notice that the old cable grounded to the engine compartment wall near the battery and then continued on to the engine block. I would do the same thing with a new cable. If you buy an original equipment replacement, like from Victoria British or Mazda, it will have the hookup already wired into it.
hope this helps, hanman |
