slipping clutch?
 

My car recently developed slipping clutch. And I want to know is there more what I must replace then clutch disk?

Usually...
 

1) machine the flywheel
2) replace throwout bearing
3) replace clutch disc
4) replace pressure plate

0r, just the disc, but it won't last as long and usually won't be warrantied by the manufacturer

Also, 'search' theses forums on clutch and you will come up with al sorts of ideas and suggestions...

Usually this is because of a worn clutch, but every self-respecting mechanic will tell you that you need to drop the tranny in order to make sure. If its only the clutch, then you replace the clutch, slightly resurface the flywhell, and change all small things in there (bearings, rings etc).
If its the flywheel, then you can either resurface it, or buy a new one (a lighter one, probably :D).
If its both, add the two comments above ;)

I would highly recommend to replace the pilot bearing (and accompaning "grease" seal).

Hey Ted,

I'm doing the clutch in my '87 TII. Do you know what size the nut on the flywheel is and do you think it's necessary to resurface the flywheel? I'm replacing almost everything: Clutch, Pressure Plate, TO Bearing, Pilot Bearing, Front and Rear Trans. Seal, upgraded yblock mounts, and probably the slave, master, and hyd. line.

You might as well have it surfaced to be safe if you are doing everything else anyway. It'd be tragic to do all that work if the flywheel were, in fact, out of balance.
