(simple Question) -sparkplugs
im about to change my spark plugs and i was wondering if there was any special way to do this, like after i take the old ones out do i have to turn the engine over or anything like that. Just makin sure...

nope just take the old ones out and put the new ones in. You are now done!;)
|
Just make sure that the leading and the trailing are in the right places or you will get a lot of missfire.
|
yea just make sure you have anti seize on the new plugs threads and dielectric grease on the porcelin base of the plugs.

Bah i dont know which are T and L, i brought a plug to the guy in the store, and hes like umm ok, we dont have any instock, but the store down the street does, so i bought them were i was and picked them up down the street and i was like "which are the trailing and leading?" and he was like "what do you mean?"
im so frusterated with this bullshit. blah whatever. BUT, thanx a lot for all the advice:) |
The trailing have a little T on the porcelan and the Leading have an L on there.
|
Trailing and leading are different styles of plugs, they even have different p#'s I believe. Trailing plugs are a one step hotter plug. Put the trailings in the top spark plug holes, leading in the lower.
