side seal ?

Ok, I'm going to be rebuilding a 90 n/a engine. I'm looking in the parts manual and there are different side seals for turbos and n/a's.. Whats the dif? rotors different or something? This car *might* be getting a turbo put on in the future (vert) so should I go with the turbo seals or stick with na ones?

The internals of the TII engine are lower compression rotors b/c of forced induction. The N/A's had higher compression (larger) rotors. It'd be safest to go with the parts built for the car AND year (86-88 is different from the 89-91, 89-91 had lightwieght rotors and more durrable parts (durable in the fact that its reline is higher).

the difference is in the coating. use 93+ cornel seal springs they are a lot better.
