Side paneling fixes?

Aight everyone,

My panel where my passing signal is on the side of the car on my 89 GXL is bowing out on the ends. I was wondering if there was some good stuff to use when trying to get it to hold back together? Just wondering since there are some other places in the wrap around paneling that is pulling out just a smiggen. The paneling I am talking about was black on S4 cars and same color as the car on all S5s. Tanks fo da help everyone.:D

I think you mean the body trim...

If it is pulling off, then either the body or paint was damaged or the adhesive under the trim panels was put on improperly.

You'll need to remove the trim, and clean the body under it, install new trim adhesive (usually available as 1/16" foam doublesided tape) and stick the trim panels back on.

Yes, I am talking about the trim. I realize that I have to remove it and clean the surface. However, is there some kind of quick fix as is until I get my car in for the repain this summer. Hehehe, I think I have to many projects, not enough time, and definitely not enough money
