shouldn't throttle reading on SAFC be 0 at idle?
 

At idle, the throttle reading on my SAFC sits at around 19.xx% Shouldn't this be reading at 0%. What might be causing this?

Well unless your tb just closes up and lets nothing in i'd guess it wouldn't be at 0%. I could be wrong though about how its read.

sticky throttle cable/linkage/etc, or the S-AFC was never reinitialized and setup properly to begin with. Or a TPS on the fritz.

So is the throttle reading what you are giving it or how much its open?

My throttle reading sits at 0% after the car has warmed up. What does it idle at? Also you may have to adjust your TPS after you have warmed up the car.

Go to SENSOR CHECK in the ETC. Tell us what the voltage is for the Throttle. I can't give a straight answer since mine is not connedted to the TPS but the pressure sensor instead. There's not a thing wrong with having it connected to the TPS.

At Sensor Check, the voltage should be 1volt for a properly sdjusted TPS. If not....then turn the TPS screw til it is. This applies only to a fully warmed up engine. A cold engine will read higher than one volt for obvious reasons.

make sure it is warmed up then follow hailers advice.

After it's warmed up, the throttle reading on the sensor check fluctuates between 1.1 - 1.3 volts. I've adjusted the TPS with the light method so I'm thinking it's pretty much in the ballpark. My idle is set at around 1k. I don't know if this is related, but I'm also having a problem with the boost. Whenever I get into boost, it doesn't really have any go unless I back off the throttle just a hair. If I don't, I can hear the car boost but there doesn't seem to be any increase in acceleration. Not sure if they're related or not, but if not, I'd like to try to solve my throttle % reading first. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

I think the high idle and throttle % are related.

Your in the ballpark with the TPS. But it's not spot on. So ignore/do away with the bug lights and use your SAFC voltage reading to set the TPS. Just screw the tps screw til you get one volt. Make sure the engine is fully hot when you do that. Tps voltage varies if the engine is cold. It was designed that way.

The boost problem sounds like a TOOOOOOOOO rich mixture to me. Watch your wideband to confirm that.
