Short throw shifter questions

I tried searching and couldnt really find the answer (might not have searched hard enough)
But are those eBay shifters worth it or should I just man up and get the mazdatrix

Go Mazdatrix... its worth the money hands down.

Why? Whats so much better than the others? And is it really 150 bucks better

The non replaceable plastic bits are why I would never buy one. Not to mention the rubber seals dont seem to come with that ebay one and are a bitch to remove/install "correctly". Im sure it works just fine but I would spend $200 on a good night of food/drinking and thats just temporary, car is permanant.

Hell, a tank of gas cost more than that ebay thing.

Mazdatrix is higher quality hands down. The ebay junk will work just fine if thats what your about.

I bought "the ebay junk" Miata short throw shifter several years ago and don't really see how the Mazdatrix unit could be worth $100 some more. I purchased the bushings and rubber gaskets from Mazdatrix but even so, the price difference was significant.

I heavily modified the upper and lower sections to make it even shorter and spent some time shimming the bushings to get the action smooth and it's worked fine since.

Of course, with ebay Chinese stuff you never know what you'll be getting...maybe I was lucky.

corksport/rotary shack/mazdatrix etc

The thing is I don't mind spending the money if it's worth it buy I don't wanna pay just to say that it's mazdatrix or whatever but if they work the same with similar quality why not save some money
