Shims/resurfaced flywheels/ACT clutch
After spending half the day try'n to fix my clutch problem I ran into some information i would like to confirm.
How much would a non-shimmed resurfaced flywheel affect the clutch fork? I know they have shims you can order but I never knew about it until I put mine in. Just wondering what type of adverse effects it would cause. I talked to a guy with an ACT clutch and he said most require the pedal to be almost all the way to the floor. Is this true? I didn't like this so I made a slave cylinder rod to pick up the slack a bit more and adjusted pedal so it's about what a normal clutch would be like. new master cylinder new slave SS line |
