Setup Questions?

Ok I'm a real noob just to let everyone know. Ok I've been looking at pictures of people's setups and stuff ok. I noticed that some people don't a have a wiring harness or anything. How is this possible? Like no MAF sensor or anything just a pipe and an inake to the turbo. I thought you needed you MAF sensor for the car to run?

When people convert to standalone EFI systems, the wiring harness is a lot smaller and easily hidden. Most standalones also use a MAP sensor to measure the current load on the engine, not an airflow meter like the stock system does.

Ohh ok... does the harnes like come with the standalone which one? Any sugggstions?... Because I am really interested. It seems to take alot of crap out of the engine bay....

be warned this is not a simple "plug and play" type of thing
MicroTech and Haltech are proven time and time again
megasquirt is picking up with the budget crowed.
or MoTec if you have money.

standalone = money + installation pain in the as$ if you don't know what you are doing+ tuning
