set screw/retaining screw

I removed a rear wheel today and one of the two screws which holds the rotor on to the hub was "missing." I ordered one from the local dealer for a whopping $.85 but the fsm seems to not indicate what the tightening torque should be.I guess when the wheel is placed on the hub it covers the set screw so it can"t fall off if the wheel is on but how tight does it need to be when replacing.Thanks.

The screw is just there to hold the rotor on when the wheel is removed. It's not critical for operation. Mine rusted solid and I drilled them out nearly 6 years ago.

However if you really want to use it, make sure to coat with plenty of anti-seize. Just tighten it up until it's snug.
