Seperate trailing and leading plugs?
I gave the old motor a nice drink of ATF today. Can't wait until tomorrow to piss of my neighbors :)
Anyway, I was very careful to keep the plug wires in the correct order, but not the plugs themselves. Upon putting everything back together, I went inside and read the Haynes manual. It said that seperate spark plugs exist, for the trailing and leading. True? If not, I need to return the plugs I just bought. The salesmen said nothing about the difference, and I have 4 of what appear to be identical spark plugs. Help! |
Moot. Thanks anyways.

The leading and trailing plugs have different heat ranges. Also, the trailing plugs have 2 blue stripes on the end of the ceramic part. Leading plugs have no stripes. The only thing bad that woul dhappen from running the same plugs all around on a n/a would be one pair fouling faster.
