Secondary injectors sputtering!!??
 

So a while back when i replaced my pulsation dampener and put everything back together, it wouldnt rev past 3800 rpm so i replaced the secondary injectors and evrything has been fine since then, this was about 4 months ago. Now when my tachometer is going past 3800 rpm it sputters for a second but then it keeps climbing if i hold on the gas. Its been getting worse and now sometimes it wont even go past 3800 rpm,:scratch: can anyone tell me what the problem might be???

Did you inspect your secondary injector wiring when replacing the injectors? And did you replace the old secondary fuel injectors with used fuel injectors?

You can always look into replacing the fuel filter and fuel sock on the in-tank fuel pump if they've not been replaced in quite some time. It's cheap and most of the time quite necessary.

Sounds like the Main ECU Ground [of death!]
The ground that sits on top of the engine, bolted into the rear rotor housing is most likely corroded, pull off the TB/DC/UIM [as one unit] and check it out.

they are brand new injectors, and the wiring seems to be ok, i am curious as to the ground of death you are speaking of, can you send a picture of what i should be looking at?

so once i get here i just take off that wire and clean it?

Sand paper on each side of that ring terminal, until it looks brand new. Also, hit the rotor housing bolt opening rim... This way you get that metal on metal contact you're looking for.

Its also worth taking a look inside your tank. Electrical problems typically don't "get worse" either it makes the connection or it doesn't. Sediment from your tank can (and will) progressively clog and degrade your fuel system.

And it really wouldn't be a bad time to replace the fuel filter and fuel sock.

Thanks guys! i finally got it to work and it was the ecu ground (of death!) i cut the existing fitting off, stripped the wire, and crimped a new fitting, but then it sounded like it was only firing off one of the secondary injectors so i checked the connection to the actual injector and there was no metal inside one of them so i cut 2 pieces of a paper clip (about half an inch long each) and shoved it in the two holes, now it runs like a champ :git:
