Seat Belt Bolts

I'm looking for bolts that will fit the anchor points used by the rear seat belts (mine don't have a rear seat). If my measuring is correct, they are m11 x 1.25 thread size, but I can't find them anywhere. M10s and M12s are both incorrect.

Is there a source for M11 bolts?

are you sure they are m11? I dont think anybody actually makes m11. The bolts for my seat belts are m12x1.5, these are the front ones. If I can find the bolts for my rear seats, they are in a bag, i will check them for you. But my guess is m12

Pretty sure they are M11. And it's a royal pain in the ass, since it's the one size my local fastener store doesn't stock. They can order it though...

Best advice is to go to your local fastener store and buy/order the bolts...Or just get them from Mazda.

Well, I looked at the OEM Parts Catalog and only found the seat belt assemblies, not the fasteners themselves. The bolts on a seatbelt are held in place with fixed washers, and I don't think they can be easily removed.

Could you get away with an SAE fastener? Basically, this is going to hold a retaining bracket in place.

thats just it I dont thnk I hae EVER seen m11 bolts.

Just checked my fastener notes. Indeed, M11. If you think that's weird, the exhaust studs on the DeLorean are M7...

I know I'm reviving a very old thread but I think it would be useful to know for someone who is looking to move the battery into the bins or just looking to find this specific info.

The seat belt bolt thread size and pitch is in fact very common, it is 7/16-20 NF. Which is also very close to the size of the not so common M11x1.25 stated above.

I need these too. I tried RX8 bolts since they have one that is similar started to thread but I didn't want to come cross thread. Does anyone know if they can work?

seat belts are an SAE thread so its NOT METRIC. Mazda did go to a bolt with a metric hex on the later cars though.
