Searching for my old 10th Anni

Sold my 10th Anniversary last May to buy a mint 3rd Gen. I ended up selling it through ebay to a guy in Ohio named Steve Mullin. He had it until October and sold it to a another guy in Ohio.
I wondered if he ended up on the forum somewhere. I would like to keep track of the car for some strange reason; Maybe because of the amount of time I spent working on the damn thing from 1996 through 2004.
Steve basically turned the thing back to stock before he sold it and ended up buying a 3rd Gen too.
Anyone know where the car is? I know it is a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try.

Chuck

If you have the VIN, is it possible to track down who the current owner is?

He may not be on the forum, but if the above is possible it doesn't matter.

I do have the VIN, but I am not sure if you can find out who the current owner is (Privacy laws and whatnot). That might be a little too much like stalking:-)
I just thought the new owner was on the forum, I might be able to locate him and get an update on it.
If not, no big deal.

Thanks,

carfax will usually tell you where it's registered at (city) IIRC.

I suggested that idea becuase you can find out where a person lives and everything using a plate number, so I mean if that doesn't violate a privacy law, then im sure the VIN won't ;)

call and ask.
