Sealed Beam lights

Hey I bought a conversion kit to change my light housing to accept H4 bulb awhile ago. Today I noticed that much of the paint on the inside of the housing has either melted off or chipped off. I can tell that one side is brighter than the other and am sure it's due to the inside of the housing. So I was wondering can you take apart the actual housing so I can respray the inside titanium silver? If so what type of paint should I use. I'm guessing I need a paint that can take high temperatures being so clsoe to the bulb. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you bought a low-quality product. That's not a normal paint that's just sprayed on. You'll never get anything that'll be as reflective and resiliant as the coating manufacturers use. Just buy a new one (or two).

Is there any specific brand you would recommend?
