Seafoam?
Still getting used to the rotary world so sorry for the dumb questions lol. But my engine has 129K on it after changing the plugs which were about toast i assume the engine needs a good cleaning out is seafoam safe to use in a rotary engine?

Opinions on this board vary, some swear by it, others swear at it.
I have never used Seafoam on any car, however a friend of mine used it on a rotary that was carbon fouled and he noticed a big difference in performance after. He used the method where you disconnect a vacuum hose from the intake manifold and insert the hose into the Seafoam while keeping the RPM's above 4k. Do a search on Seafoam in this forum and you should find all the info you will need. |
I've done it twice, once before and after a turbo conversion. Didn't really notice much of a difference, cool smoke show though. The car seemed to idle better and felt smoother but it could've been the placebo thing.
