Save an Rx7!!!
Okay, I have an 86 Rx7 N/A. I got the motor to turn over , but couldnt get it started. I looked in the fuel line and there was no fuel in it. I have gas. The previous owner did put a walbro fuel pump in it. Could he have set it up wrong? or is it something else. much help is appreciated :icon_tup:

Turn the key to the ON position If the Walbro is working you WILL know it. That thing is loud as hell.

It sounds like the previous owner might have wired a kill switch. |

okay, I just checked to see if it the fuel pump would turn on in the ON position, and after like 10 sec it went on, and wow was it loud. I left it on for about 15 seconds and then tryed to cranked, but it would only turn over. I noticed Im missing my 80 amp fuse though. could this be a problem.

Haha I could be wrong but isn't most of the electronics of the car wired through that fuse? At least I believe the ignition is wired through that so I would check for spark which you're not propably getting any of.

Im gonna go down later and pick up that 80amp fuse then.
I may have mayed a mistake of having that high pitched sound where you leave your keys in the ignition then the fuel pump turning on. does this car have that ability or was it the fuel pump? |
have you tried possibly deflooding your engine?
if all it does is crank, whether or not the motor was flooded before, the odds are it's flooded now. |
okay, I unplugged my fuel lines right from the fuel pump. cranked it a couple times, left it in the on position, but nothing. so I think the last owner hooked it up wrong or something. ill check tommorow.
