Is this the same as everyone elses Brake Master Cylinder

I bought this brake master cylinder from genuinemazdaparts on ebay, it suppose to be for a 87 turbo II but when i went to install it the new cylinder was missing a fitting where I have pointed out in the picture that is where the front left brake line connects to, but as you see there is no fitting on the bottom, is this for a na? or another mazda all together? it pretty muchs looks the same, the guy from the website said the part numbers match, also the only numbers on the master cylinder are cast in 5 88

perhaps it has something to do with the ABS
|
hmmm, does everyone else turbo or na have a front brake line that conects to were the arrow is at?
|
Same thing for me. I just needed the tank so i took it off since it didn't match.

I have a 91 Vert (n/a) and I just attached said line to said fitting 2 days ago -- no ABS here.
|
FSM shows a switch in there. probably to alarm a difference in brake line pressure when you have a leak,

I have a '87 TII and mine is the same. I dont have ABS. I ordered a new Brake Master and had to send it back because it did'nt have the hole there.

alright thanks everyone, seems like these manufactures all suck at making this replacement part, I dont want to rebuild the old one because its all rusty and corroded, I guess I will send it back, Drift happy did they send you back the right one? who was it from? well once again thanks

I had the exact same situation happen to me.. I just pulled the tank off it and replaced me old mastercylinder...

It's a ABS brake master cylinder. No doubt at all. The fellow on EBAY does not know his stuff or is just incompetent and never will.
Look at the Part Fische on this site and you'll see. Look in the CHASSIS section. http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/index.htm |
