Safe boost number with this setup???

Yes its kinda noobish, but I searched and there is no thread pertaining to my exact setup/question. What would be a safe boost number with this setup

87 TII
Stock Turbo (massively ported wastegate, almost 40mm)
3" Custom TID
80mm Corksport Turboback exhaust
Reman engine with 10K on it
550cc primaries
720cc secondaries
SAFC II
RTEK 1.7
21x9x3 FMIC
Koyo Radiator
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Manual Boost Controller
Boost/Water Temp/Oil Temp/Oil Pressure gauges

I realize that with the RTEK, it is designed to run the stock turbo at 12psi just like the stock computer would run the turbo at stock boost. My question is though, you can turn up the boost on a stock setup to about 8psi until fuel runs out correct? I plan on running 12# on the street, but when I go to the dragstrip, would I be able to run 15pounds safely? I know its not really safe for the turbo, but I'l be upgrading soon enough, I just want to know if this would be safe.

Thanks

Ryan

yeah but I think it runs out of effitiancy around 14. But try it and see what you think. The rtek retards timing up until 15 I believe.

I would, its just its winter up here and its pretty cold out. Car is parked for winter so I'm awating summer yet again :(. So ya figure it would be safe then eh? Thanks for the reply

The stock turbos efficiency really does start to die off around 13-14psi, but with a FMIC you might be able to keep some decent temps at those pressures, If you happen to hit up a dyno, do a few runs at each and see.

yeah I don't think there should be a problem at all with those mods and 15lbs

Get it on a dyno and get it tuned properly. Dont let it get any leaner then 12:1. You will have a hard time getting the S4 turbo to hold 13psi, so be expecting it.
