SAFC still no answers.....
 
my safc still won work right i rewired it for the 8th time today and i am very PISSED off, i setit to flap 5in 5out, 4cyl, with throttle up and to left, its a 88 SE and the thinkg still readsthe wrong voltage for te throtle, when the car is off, just sitting there not running and i turn the key on the safc reads 4 volts for the third reading and les than .1 for the other two, does he car haev to be idling to get correct voltagereadings on thrttle, also why would it do this is somethign wired wrong?? someoe before told me of a problem tey ahd and had to run new ground wires to everything, i am about to go and do that but i am seriously gonna hurt something, the perormance shop i bought it from who i am a deaker through says they do not sell Apex'i any more so they cant cover it, but when i went in they ahd apex'i shit lying around for sale out the ass so i know theywont do anythign, any suggestions?? is there somethign wrong with my CAR not the safc ....

it also reas wile OFF, not running, 100% air flow, and 100% throttle

the tps is on top of the TB correct?? also somone her told me bout a wriing etup he didto get his safc working right, wiring other than directlyon r to the safc and i cant find the link if someone can point him out or if someone know who he is and can let me know or give him a shout i would appreciate it......

I was thinking of having a shop install my s-afc and maybe even my gauges just to make life easier and make sure its all done correctly.

coukld i have a bad throttle sensor, i just reinstalled it and it boggs out bad when i go to give it any gas atl all, its a 88 se, i did flap, 5in 5out, 4cyl, arrowup and right, and 98% low thr, and 99% high thr

Do a search with my user name, and S-AFC as the subject- LOTS will come up.
I had problems too...
I describe how to fix them as it did for my car.
The grounding of the ECU harness, and then the AFM and pressure sensor together doesn't take long at all.
Also firewall to engine.

Maybe 1 hour at most.
It fixed all my problems with it.

Your lo throttle should be about 98, and hi should be 99

Check your throttle sensor. You might want to ground it too.
As long as it's smooth- with no flat spots, it should be fine.

I had to disconnect my o2 sensor... it ran a little rough under closed loop.

I bet it runs OK if you lean it out by about 20-30%...
Just ground your sensors- then it'll run fine- it's getting a bad signal.
