Anyone else have any input?

Input on what? It's already been covered.

No ones said exactly how much porting is needed to hold stock boost levels on full exhaust with a stock intake.

So no it hasn't been covered.

weld the stock waste gate shut and weld on an external.

How much would all this cost? Ballpark estimate.

I'd like to keep the stock waste gate and port the snot out of it if it can do what I want it to.

I may have no choice but to upgrade my fuel pump and ecu to an rtek. I have bigger secondaries already. So an rtek 1.7 with stock primaries and gsl se secondaries with an upgraded fuel pump should keep me from running lean.

I'm shooting for 10 psi if I had that setup.

I don't think 6-7 psi is possible with a full exhaust unless I do some very extreme wg porting and put on a new flapper. And even that would still be questionable if it'd hold 6-7 psi on the full exhaust.

Ugh

We don't offer it anymore, but used to charge $500 including the cost of a Tial 2 bolt wastegate back in early 2000.

Wow. That's alot of money to throw into a stock turbo, if you've got a hybrid and money isn't an issue then sure, if not that setup would be worth more than the Turbo even is.

My question now is will a bnr stage1 or 2 boost creep as bad as the stock turbo? They port the wastegate, clip the turbine wheel, and they have a bigger compressor than stock (obviously).

You're right , don't know who'd wanna spend money on an external waste gate if you could upgrade the Turbo for almost the same price and get a better stock waste gate that functions just as well.
