Hello everyone, im doing a jspec swap and i need to know what types of modification i have to do to the wire harness? thanks

Well I'm not sure about the jspec engines but I know that the us spec harness requires 3 wires to be moved. The JDMs might be different because of the emmisions stuff.

My car is 89 s5 and i got a 91 s5 jdm turbo front clip.

Need more info! What engine do you have!

If you have a turbo, the engine will drop right in using the existing harness. you'll just have a couple of spare connectors for emissions equipment J-spec engines don't have.

If you have an NA, to keep the existing harness you'll need to swap a few wires at the ECU and lengthen the BAC valve wires.

Pin 2M (Y/B wire) is the knock sensor on Turbos and the VDI solenoid valve on NA's. Connect the knock sensor to the VDI solenoid valve connector.
Pin 3R (L/W wire) is the boost control solenoid valve on Turbos and the 6PI solenoid valve on NA's. If you're keeping the factory electronic boost control you'll need to connect the boost control solenoid valve to the 6PI solenoid valve connector.
