S5 TII wheel centercap questions

Hello, My centercaps on my 90 TII are faded and are missing s couple "lugnuts".
My questions are...

Are the centercaps from a 15" 1990 GTU wheel the same? They look the same in pictures.

Also, is there anywhere to get new centercaps? Thanks!!

I'm missing one of the fake nuts also.
I've been spot checking e-bay, so far no luck.
A local flea market hubcap guy had a center cap that didn't match, but had the same plastic lug nuts. He wouldn't go below $10. I said "maybe later."

The 15" vert wheels are different also.

I've owned both these wheels (90 GTU, 91TII) the center caps were exactly the same from the factory.

I say "were" because they are plastic and all of them get damaged and faded to different degrees. I painted my wheels and center caps, a graphite color, and masked off the fake chrometastic lugz. I actually used a combination of different center caps from both my cars because my GTU i bought aftermarket rims for.

The short answer is yes, but you will have trouble matching the same degree of damage and fading.

Sureshot:
I know this is not the FS section, but i have some spares left over, they are all repainted though, some better than others. I would be fine with splitting them up because i only want 1-2 as spares for my TII. PM me.

Im kind of curious as to what your opinion has to do with the topic of this thread? Humm, it has absolutely nothing to do with it. So your obviously not trying to help, your trying to get a higher post count...

hondahater 11-09-05 10:45 AM

Actually, it does. Once again, common sense troubles?

Last I checked this thread was about centercaps, last I checked my opinion was that they look better without the walmart looking plastic peice of craps jammed in the center, those would be centercaps would they not?

88rx7gxl 11-09-05 10:51 AM

Wow, your like arguing with a retard. Ok, we will go slow so you dont get confused. Put your helmet on and only answer YES or NO to these questions...

DID I ASK FOR ANYONES OPINION?

DOES THIS THREAD HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE LOOKS OF THE CENTERCAPS?

DID I EVER STATE THAT "DUMBSHITS SEEKING HIGH POST COUNTS NEED TO POSTWHORE MY THREAD?"

Remember, all i want is a YES or NO to those questions.

SureShot 11-09-05 10:58 AM

Patience grasshopper. (I'm 61, so I can say that.)

The best responce to a non-topic post is no response.

Which brought mention of the way they look, thus resulting in the opinion (of which, as a result also saves money for you), that they look better without center caps. But forbid someone's just providing a suggestion or an alternate to wasting money, it's all about the post count bitch!

88GXL, this is like that 5th thread that you have wigged out on.

^Wow. I think we all just kinda need to chill out. Haha!

I personally think the rims look better without them but kinda wish someone would make some aluminum caps that are smooth or something like that.

My S5 TII rims don't have them. I do have a full set off the original GTU rims for sale. They need to be painted though.
