S5 Nippondenso Compressor O-Rings

Folks,

that time of year again, bleed the brakes, charge the AC, and hunt down all the squeaks that you didn't bother with when it was cold. Got a question. Need to replace the o-rings for the AC compressor housing. All line o-rings have been replaced. Housing o-rings blew out. Saw other pics of Denso compressors had the model number on the tag. Figured I'd check and see if you guys knew the series, or type of compressors used. If you know of a part or kit number for the right o-rings, that'd be spiffy too. I tried looking up the numbers on the tag (see attached) and google didn't seem to like it.

Appreciate the information,

strange, almost all the S5 cars i ran across had sanden compressors installed. maybe you got a really early model 89 with the old S4 compressor.

did some more looking. I think the number on the back is 147200. Googled that number and got a P\N for a 10p13c denso compressor. If anyone can confirm this type or series of compressor, I can probably find an o-ring kit for it. It was off an early 89 turbo.

pulled the compressor and managed to find the faintest imprint (no ink) 10p15c. Got stuff ordered. Can close this thread

From what ive seen its almost always Turbo cars that have Denso compressors.

FWIW, I had a good experience buying a rebuilt compressor, new receiver/dryer, new expansion valve and all the O-rings needed to restore the AC system in my FC from these guys:

AC Compressor | Evaporator Core | Fuel Pump | Condenser | Water Pump | Clutch || TechChoice Parts

Total cost shipped was about $250, and it was for the Nippon Denso compressor for a S5T2. The O-ring kit was a generic "Asian car" HBNR (green) kit that had lots of extras, and just enough of the right size ones to do the entire system. Did the job last summer and it's still working great.
